About BiteBack

BiteBack is a new type of automatic striking product. It automatically strikes the fishing line in response to a freshwater fish taking the angler's bait, greatly reducing the chance of missing the bite.

Biteback was founded by life-long fisherman, David Stubbs. Many years working as a project engineer combined with a love of fishing inspired him to come up with the Biteback. Pictured here with son, Jon, co-founder and C.E.O., at Masham, North Yorkshire after a good day’s fishing locally.

Watching some carp anglers using expensive equipment which provide a signal that they had a bite while waiting often at a distance from their rod to hear an alarm didn’t make total sense to him.
